You are not crazy (or no more than the rest of us). I reckon you're thinking of the way tabs instantly reflect change in the document's name when it is still unsaved - works even if you change focus to the editor and then change the title some more. Unfortunately it needs the control panel open - it doesn't work in the "get info" option in the browser, since (obviously) unsaved files don't appear in the browser. So it's not really what you want, but at least you can take a rain-check on the electro-shock treatment.

Still you can be fast using the control panel by using the document-shortcuts for switching (Cmd-Alt-Left/Right).

Apparently, I need to go back on my meds...

Is there a short cut for hiding/unhiding the control panel?
(and is there one for the browser?)

Nachhilfe Unterricht k�nnen wir leider nicht direkt bieten. Aber wir stehen f�r jede Anzahl und Art von Fragen zu Verf�gung. Entweder hier oder per Mail.

Au�erdem gibt es eine �lter Version der Dokumentation auf Deutsch. Diese kann man sich hier ansehen.

I'll give it a look, but don't count on it too much. Actually this would be a nice feature for a service, which then could be used in all applications...

Guten Tag

Ich bin Ulysses-Anf�nger und br�uchte etwas Starthilfe. Mir ist aufgefallen, dass die Bedienungsanleitung trotz deutscher Version auf Englisch geschrieben ist. Nun ist jedoch mein Englisch nicht besonders. Meine Frage also: existiert eine deutsche Bedienungsanleitung?

Falls nicht, w�re ich interessiert an Nachhilfeunterricht von jemandem, der das Programm gut kennt. Selbstverst�ndlich gegen Bezahlung.

I just happened to see a blurp about a new tool, called Selenium, which I cannot try because it requires Leopard. But it seems to have as one of its features an "overused words" alert - and that might well be useful. All depending on how it works obviously, but perhaps some idea which Ulysses�for once�could steal?

Nope.
I am absolutely convinced I was able to... somehow type directly into the title of a document tab. and I remember being so happy. and then so sad when i forgot how I did it. I know I am not crazy. I know I am not.

I remember being so happy because I usually work with the browser and control panels closed. but i tend to create lots of documents as different ideas come to me and I wanted a quick way of renaming them in the tabs.

I know I'm not crazy.

Well not in the document tab I think...? But you can click on a document in the browser and choose "show info" (command-I), which will give you an info-sheet where you can edit the document name, among other things, without opening the document.

Was that what you meant?
